Job Description

Responsibilities / duties:

Administrative support to merchandiser (include some design work and communication to buyers and suppliers)
Update spread sheets, purchase orders and sales reports on a weekly basis
Monitor purchase orders to ensure that goods are delivered on time
Follow a critical path for shipment (planning and following up on shipments)
Organize collection and deliveries of goods to and from the finish house or DC of the customer
Office administration

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in the fashion industry and supply management sector (shipping experience is an advantage)
Worked for/with Truworths that understands the process, is an advantage
2-3 years in the clothing industry, preferably imports

Effective relationship building and communication skills
Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to determine and set priorities
Good Excel and Outlook skills
