Here's a flashback to the SA Style Awards, an evening of opulence with exemplary personalities.

A seat at a table with the most stylish and inspiring occurred on Sunday in Hyde Park Corner, right after the SA Style Awards ceremony. It was an event of known personalities walking away with awards for categories like Most Stylish Designer Interior or Fashion, which went to Laduma Ngxokolo of MaXhosa, Most Stylish Performing Artist in Film or TV, received by Nomzamo Mbatha and Most Innovative Style, Manthe Ribane. Man behind "Sidlukotini" track, Riky Rick, came looking suave in paisly printed pyjama-style suit and was awarded Most Stylish Performing Artist in Music.
A three course meal with Grey Goose-paired drinks and shots arrived to guests that included David Tlale, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Maira Koutsodakis, Johanna Mukoki, Lucilla Booyzen and many more.
Here's some light into the event: these awards are not about being best dressed but about those who inspire the young and “create a benchmark for excellence in their specific career paths,” according to event founder and organiser, Jillian Groger of Zebra Square. The substance behind it attracts and rightly recognises those labouring sincerely and thriving.
MC on the night was Melinda Bam, with the mic also going through the hands of Basetsana Kumalo doing what she does best – keeping guests clued up and getting comfortable for the event. SA Style Awards have had staying power, for twenty years, keeping high end sponsorship and this year having Lexus, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté as a few.
