Marchesa and Revlon collaborate on a beauty collection.

Marchesa in your beauty bag is not a dream. It's a reality, that's according to co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. The British-born designers, renowned for their ultra-feminine collections, have confirmed their upcoming beauty collaboration with Revlon. In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Craig said that the new beauty venture is set to launch in September and draws inspiration from the fashion house’s design aesthetic.

This collaboration with Revlon means women the world over will be able to experience the fashion brand through beauty. Offering an innovative take on both worlds, the line’s first offering will be a selection of 3D nail strips, in a variety of patterns, which were inspired by Marchesa’s bespoke designs. “While we can’t reveal all the details of our multi-collection partnership with Revlon just yet, each collection will truly embody our brand’s feminine and dramatic spirit,” explained Craig. The first instalment of the Marchesa-Revlon collaboration is set to debut in the UK in September. A global release is expected to follow soon thereafter. The other two lines (featuring colour cosmetics for eyes and lips and nail products) will launch over the next 18 months.
Gucci Westman, Revlon’s global artistic director, is renowned for her beauty expertise, and is often backstage overseeing looks she has created for runway shows. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Marchesa’s upcoming New York Fashion Week runway show will feature beauty looks conceptualised by Revlon.
